The Guardian Smart Lock is compatible with most residential front doors. Before confirming your booking, our installer reviews a few photos of your door to ensure it’s suitable and provide an exact installation quote.
What’s included in the price?
Your quote includes the Guardian Smart Lock, professional installation, complete setup, and a full handover where we’ll show you how everything works before we leave.
How can I unlock the door?
You can unlock the Guardian using facial recognition, palm recognition, fingerprint, PIN code, the mobile app, access card, or the backup key—giving you multiple ways to enter your home.
What happens if the battery runs flat?
The lock provides plenty of warning before the battery gets low, giving you time to recharge it. If the battery does run flat, you can still regain access using the backup key or emergency power function.
Does it need Wi-Fi to work?
No. Everyday unlocking methods such as fingerprint, face recognition, palm recognition, PIN, access card and backup key continue to work without Wi-Fi. An internet connection is only needed for certain remote app features.
Is the Guardian Smart Lock secure?
Yes. The Guardian combines a high-security locking mechanism with personalised access methods, automatic locking and built-in security alerts to help protect your home while giving you complete control over who can enter.
What happens during installation?
Our professional installer will remove your existing hardware (where required), install your new Guardian Smart Lock, configure all features, help you set up the mobile app, and show you exactly how to use it before leaving.
What warranty do I receive?
Every Guardian Smart Lock includes a 2-year product warranty and a 5-year workmanship warranty, backed by local ProShield support should you ever need assistance.
How do I book an installation?
Simply submit your details and a few photos of your door. Once our installer has confirmed compatibility, we’ll send you your quote. A $50 deposit secures your booking and is deducted from your total, with the remaining balance payable after installation.
